Sell finished pieces from the shelf

Sell what is already printed, one model or several, without printing anything.

  1. In the menu, open Orders, then Queue.
  2. Press Sell from stock at the top of the board.
  3. Pick a Client, or type the Customer name.
  4. In the line, choose the Pick a model and its colour, and enter the Qty.
  5. 1 Check Price each. Selling several things? Press Add for another line.
  6. Already handed it over? Switch on Already handed over.
  7. Press Create.

Worth knowing: Only what is on the shelf can be sold here. Nothing printed yet? Print a batch for the shelf first.

Open your online storefront

A public page with the items you sell. Buyers order there, and the order lands in your queue.

  1. In the menu, open Storefront.
  2. 2 Open the Shop page tab and choose the Address of your shop page.
  3. Fill in How to pay: the buyer sees it after ordering. Press Save.
  4. 3 On the Items tab, press Add and choose a model.
  5. In its card, switch on Show on the storefront, set the Price and press Save.
  6. 4 On the Delivery tab, switch on the ways you deliver, choose who pays for each and press Save.
  7. If there is a Payments tab, connect your account there to be paid on the page itself. Leave it alone to settle with buyers yourself.
  8. Switch the shop on at the top: Storefront is closed turns into Storefront is open.

Worth knowing: Copy the address or the QR code from the top card and put it in your social profile. An item shows only when it is switched on and has a price.

Sell a set of several models as one item

Some things are sold together but printed apart, and the shop wants to count whole sets, not loose parts.

  1. In the menu, open Storefront.
  2. 3 Open the Items tab and press Add.
  3. Choose Set of several models.
  4. Type the Set name. For each part, pick it in Model and colour, put how many go into one set in Per set and press Add part.
  5. Press Save. The product card of the new set opens.
  6. Type the Price, add a photo in Photos and press Save.

Worth knowing: The set is counted from its parts: print the parts to stock as usual, and the storefront shows as many sets as the scarcest part makes. To change what is in it, open its product card and press Edit parts.

Add photos, size and material to an item

A buyer judges a printed piece by its photos and its size, and a colour looks right only in its own photo.

  1. In the menu, open Storefront.
  2. 3 Open the Items tab and press Product card next to an item.
  3. In Photos, press Add photo and pick a photo. An item takes up to six with the cover.
  4. Under Photo for each colour, choose the photo each colour opens on.
  5. In Size and material, fill in the width, depth and height in millimetres. Change the material only when the plastic needs a better word.
  6. Press Save.

Worth knowing: Photos are stored the moment you pick them; the colour photos, the size and the material wait for the card to be saved. The choice of a photo per colour appears once an item has two colours and more than one photo. The cover is the model's picture until you replace it with your own photo or star one of the others; the model keeps its picture in the workshop either way.

Answer a storefront order

Every new storefront order in one list, each answered in one tap.

  1. In the menu, open Storefront.
  2. On the Orders tab, press Confirm beside an order to keep an order: the buyer gets a letter and the order stays New on the board.
  3. Press Decline to turn one down: give the reason, and the units go back on the shelf while the buyer is told.
  4. To talk first, call, or press Telegram or Email: your payment details go with the message.

Worth knowing: An order nobody answers is cancelled when its hold runs out. "Waiting for you" at the top counts the ones still open.

Answer a request for something you do not sell yet

A buyer describes what they want and attaches their model. It lands on the storefront page, with no price on it.

  1. In the menu, open Storefront.
  2. On the Orders tab, open Asked for under the new orders: the description, how many, who is asking, and their file or link.
  3. Download the file, work out what it would cost and write back to the address on the request. Then press Answered - or Declined if it is not work you take.
  4. 2 To stop receiving them, switch Take requests for things not on the shelf off on the Shop page tab. Turn on the second switch under it if you also design from a description.

Worth knowing: A request is a question, not an order: nothing is charged and nothing is held. Deleting one deletes the buyer’s file with it.

Put a price on a model a buyer uploads

A buyer who uploads a sliced model sees a price built from your own costs and can order it there and then.

  1. In the menu, open Storefront.
  2. 2 On the Shop page tab, find Pricing an uploaded model and switch on Quote uploads I can price.
  3. Press Add a material, give the material a What buyers call it a buyer will understand, and set your Your price per kg.
  4. Tick every machine under Machines that can run it that can run it. The quote uses the cheapest hour of the ones you tick, so the price holds whichever you put it on.
  5. Press Save. The first material in the list is the one quotes are priced with; move another to the top to change that.

Worth knowing: Only a model whose slicer already worked out the time and weight can be priced. Anything else reaches you as a request to answer by hand, exactly as before. A buyer who likes the price can order there and then; it reaches you in the same list as every other storefront order.

Get storefront orders in Telegram

A new order in your chat the minute it is placed, and a warning before an unstarted one is released.

  1. In the menu, open Storefront.
  2. Open the Notifications tab and press Connect.
  3. Press Open Telegram: Telegram opens the bot.
  4. In Telegram, press Start. The card turns to Connected by itself.

Worth knowing: Every member who manages the storefront connects their own Telegram, and the choice is only theirs. Send /stop to the bot to switch it off from the chat.

Import orders from a marketplace

Sales from Etsy, Allegro, eBay or anywhere else that exports a file land in your queue, matched to your print models, with nothing retyped.

  1. In the menu, open Orders, then History.
  2. Press Import orders from a file.
  3. In the shop you sell on, export your orders to a CSV file. On Etsy: Shop Manager, Settings, Options, Download Data, and take the order items file - the one with a SKU column.
  4. Choose a.csv file. An Etsy or Shopify export is recognised on its own, columns and all.
  5. 3 For anything else, say which column holds the order number under Order, and which hold the item code and the quantity under Items. We remember it for the next file of that shape.
  6. Press See what this would do to see what the file would do before anything is created. Orders you already have are counted as already here.
  7. Confirm, and they are in your queue. Uploading the same export again creates nothing twice.

Worth knowing: Item codes are matched to your print models through each model's Codes tab. A code we do not know yet still imports, and giving it to a model afterwards fills in the rest. A file cannot carry a cancellation: if a buyer cancels on the marketplace, cancel that order here yourself.
