Connect Claude, ChatGPT or another AI assistant to your workspace. It reads your orders, clients, spools and printers as you, and on Pro it can add records too.
Connected in a minute
Claude.ai and ChatGPT connect by signing in, with no key to copy. It comes with the Base plan and up.
- In Claude.ai or ChatGPT, add a custom connector with the address https://layerflow3d.com/api/mcp.
- Sign in to LayerFlow3D when it asks, and read what the connection may do.
- Choose Allow. The connection stays under My profile, AI assistant connections, until you revoke it.

- Which orders are due this week, and which are late?
- Is there enough black PETG for the orders in the queue?
- Which printers are printing right now, and which are idle?
- What would 40 of the cable clip model cost a customer?

Open My profile, choose New connection and paste the command it shows into your app. The key is shown once and stored only as a hash.
It reads as you
A connection sees what your role sees in the app: orders, clients, print models, filament, supplies, printers and the business summary. Nothing from another workspace.
Any app that speaks MCP
Claude.ai, ChatGPT, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and other apps that speak the Model Context Protocol connect to the same address.
Money only for those who see it
Revenue, prices and payments reach the assistant only through an Admin or a Manager. A Viewer's connection never reads money.
It adds, and never edits or deletes
On Pro and Ultimate, a connection you allow to create can add clients, orders and spool deliveries. It cannot change or remove anything already there.
Your workspace decides who connects
An Admin chooses for each role whether its people may connect an assistant and whether it may only read. To start with, Admins read and create, Managers read, and Viewers do not connect.
Every record it adds says so
What an assistant adds appears in the Activity log under the name of the person who connected it, with the app it came through.
Revoked at once
Every connection is listed with when it was last used, and an Admin sees the whole team's. Revoke one and it stops answering straight away.
An allowance a day
Base: 500 calls a day, reading only. Pro: 2,000, Ultimate: 10,000, reading and adding. Never more than 60 a minute. The Free plan does not include it.
