LayerFlow3D vs FoxTrack

FoxTrack, made in Singapore, is the closest thing on this list to a whole shop in one app: quotes that turn into orders and invoices, spools by the gram, and printers it can pause, stop and send files to. It does two things we do not - control the machines and write invoices - and leaves out one we consider central: a page your customers order from.

Checked October 26, 2026

Choose FoxTrack if

  • You want to pause, stop or start prints from the same app that holds the orders. They do; we only read the machines.
  • You invoice. Quote, order and invoice are one record there, with PDFs in five languages; we have no invoices yet.
  • You run Bambu printers in LAN Only Mode and want filament counted from what the AMS reports rather than from the slicer's plan.

Choose LayerFlow3D if

  • Your customers find you on Instagram or Telegram, and you want a page they can order from without building a website first.
  • You would rather the slicer's time and grams filled in themselves than type them per line.
  • Your team works in a language other than English.

Quotes and invoices No invoices yet, and no quote you send for a customer to accept. A buyer's sliced upload can be priced on the shop page for you to confirm. Quotes priced from your costs, that become orders and invoices without retyping; PDFs by email. 1
Reading the printers Read-only telemetry on every plan: Bambu Lab, Creality and Anycubic, confirmed on real machines; Elegoo, Flashforge, Klipper + Moonraker and Prusa / OctoPrint in beta, built to their published protocols. Through FoxTrack Bridge on your network, on Pro and Farm: Bambu Lab (in LAN Only Mode), Klipper and Prusa, plus Home Assistant printers for status only. 2
Controlling the printers No. We read the machines and never start, pause or stop a print. Yes: "the pause, resume, stop and light controls", and it "can send a sliced file to a printer". 3
Filament stock Sealed boxes and open spools to the gram; an order takes its planned filament when it moves to In progress. Grams per spool. An order takes its planned grams when saved; a print the Bridge saw is counted from the AMS percentage before and after, or the length a Klipper printer fed. 4
Where print time and filament weight come from From the slicer file: a sliced G-code or 3MF from Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer, PrusaSlicer, Cura, Simplify3D or ideaMaker fills in the print time and the grams. A raw STL or an unsliced 3MF has neither yet, so it is sliced first. Grams and hours entered per line of a quote. Filling them from a sliced file is not documented. 1
Sales channels A shop page of your own, plus order import from Squarespace (beta), Prom.ua (beta) and Shopify (beta). CloudSlicer3D on Pro (with a paid CloudSlicer3D plan), an Etsy order file on Pro, and Shopify, Etsy and WooCommerce on Farm, in beta. 5
Selling to customers directly A public shop page included on every plan, that a buyer can order from without an account. None of their own. Orders come from your website or online store; the instant quote shown is CloudSlicer3D running there. 5
Languages Ten, in the app, on shop pages and in the letters it sends. The app in US English; quotes and invoices as PDFs in English, French, German, Spanish or Dutch. 1

Questions people ask

Is FoxTrack the same as FoxTrak?

No. This page is about foxtrack.studio, by Fox & Train in Singapore. FoxTrak, without the c, is job tracking for trade and service businesses, and foxtrack.app is inventory for marketplace sellers in Thailand.

Do I need LAN Only Mode for their printer features?

For Bambu Lab, yes: their help says the Bridge needs "LAN Only Mode with Developer Mode on" and that printing "does not work over Bambu Cloud". That is a real trade: control from their app, at the price of Bambu's own app and cloud.

Can a customer order from FoxTrack directly?

Not from a page FoxTrack gives you. Orders reach it from your own website or online store - CloudSlicer3D, Shopify, Etsy or WooCommerce - so you need one of those first. With us the shop page is the store.
