1.71.2

The workspace has a new look, and you choose it.

Under Workspace and then your account settings there are now two palettes. Monokai is the new one and it is on by default: darker surfaces, one accent colour, and figures set in a typeface where digits line up under each other. Classic is the palette the app has always had, and you can stay on it. Each palette comes as a pair, so light and dark both look right whichever one you pick.

The dashboard was rebuilt around it. Every figure at the top now says what it is worth reading against: how many orders have been waiting too long, how many machines are actually printing, what the pile ready to ship is worth, how many jobs an ordinary day closes, how much is still owed and how many spools the shelf holds. The order queue says what each job is, for whom and for how much, instead of how heavy it is. The price calculator draws where the price goes, a colour per kind of cost, and what is left over is your profit.

The menu folds to a narrow rail of icons and opens again whenever you want it, and it remembers which you chose. Along the foot of the window there is a new line with the state of the connection, how many machines you have and how many are online, the queue depth and the version you are running.

Spacing, card edges and dividers are the same everywhere now, on every page.

1.70.0

Accounts with view only access no longer meet the dashboard with error messages about pages they were never allowed to open.

Signing in as somebody else on the same page, without reloading it, now loads that person's own printers and orders instead of leaving the workspace empty.

Integrations we have not yet run against the real service are marked as beta on the integrations page, so you know which ones are still being proven.

The front page now says who builds LayerFlow3D.

1.67.1

The order board opens faster. It now carries only what the cards actually show, and moving a card between columns no longer makes every open tab reload the board, the history and the archive.

Signing in is lighter as well: the filament colour catalogue is fetched by the screens that use it instead of arriving with every session.

The pricing page no longer says that payments are unavailable. They are, and the page now says what each plan costs and what you get.

The plans are one table now, so what each one gives you can be read across in a line: printers, seats, orders a month, workspaces, then every feature against all four plans. On a phone each plan is a short card again.

The build number no longer spills out of the collapsed sidebar, and on a phone the consent bar no longer covers the figures at the top of the site.

For a workshop running the telemetry agent on a large farm: a full report from every machine is accepted again after the agent restarts.

1.66.3

The order queue opens roughly three times faster.

On a phone it used to lock up for about a second and a half every time you opened it, whether or not you had been there a minute earlier. It now draws in well under a second, and the screen answers your taps while it does.

Three things changed to get there. The queue asks the server for what a card actually shows instead of everything an order has ever carried. A long column draws its first twenty five cards and offers the rest under a button that says how many are waiting: nothing has left the board, and the number beside the column name is still the real one. And the board stopped re-measuring itself every time you scrolled.

Other pages ask for less on the way in as well, so moving between them is quicker. Opening a machine from a link now shows the page filling in rather than an empty screen.

The whole app also downloads noticeably less than it did, which is worth most on mobile data and on a slow connection.

1.66.0

Adding a photo from a phone works again. The app now reads the picture before sending it, so a photo chosen from an iPhone gallery uploads instead of failing with nothing to go on. When the phone will not hand over the file at all, the app refuses it and says why.

In the price calculator a field opens with its value selected, so a new number can be typed straight away without clearing the old one first.

1.65.3

Picking a photo on an iPhone now says what went wrong when it does. Where the phone is set to share only the photos you select, it sometimes hands the page a file with nothing in it; that used to end as "the photo could not be uploaded" and nothing more. The app now tells you that the phone did not hand the photo over, and what to do about it, before anything is sent. The same check stands behind a printer photo, a shop logo and a product photograph.

1.65.2

A change saved in a product card now shows in the storefront list straight away. The price, the shelf label and everything else the row says follow the save instead of waiting for the page to be reloaded, and a shop editing from a phone sees the same card update in a tab left open on the desk.

The block that builds a picture of an item now says what it is for. It makes a picture for a post or a story: the shop page itself does not change from it. The shape, the colour and what the picture says are kept with the card, so a shop sets them once instead of choosing them again every time it opens the item.

1.65.1

You can now ask for a referral code and share a link with it.

When a shop signs up through your link and finishes its first order, 25 paid orders are added to your workspace. They are spent only after the orders your plan already allows each month, so they are extra rather than instead.

When paid plans open, anyone who arrives through your link will take 10 percent off Base and Pro, or 15 percent off Ultimate, for their first twelve months, and you will be credited with the value of one month of the plan they chose.

Ask for a code on the new Referrals tab in your workspace settings. We look at every request ourselves and write to you with your link. The same tab then shows how many people opened it, how many signed up, how far each of them has got and what it has earned you.

The shop settings now keep every switch you save. Cash on delivery for Nova Poshta stays on, a connected carrier no longer shows as switched off after a reload, and the Payments tab stays where it is while you change whether payment is required at checkout. Under the order button a buyer now reads what actually happens to their money, with its own line for cash on delivery.

1.64.3

Orders from other platforms. Upload an order export from Etsy or any CSV file, confirm the columns once, see what the import would do, and the orders land in your queue. A new SKU directory in your account maps a platform's codes to your print models, and orders waiting on a code settle themselves the moment you map it.

Your shop page. Buyers can now pay at the branch with cash on delivery through Nova Poshta. The page carries your seller details for buyers in the EU: tax number, registered address, terms of sale and the right to withdraw. You can look at your own page while it is still closed, and copy a link to any item for a post or a story. On a wide screen the buy buttons fit the page, and the bar that follows a buyer on a phone offers the basket as well.

Free tools and guides. The print cost, filament cost and printer hourly rate calculators have pages of their own, five guides for print shops are published, two of them also in Ukrainian and Russian, and there are comparison pages with Printago, SimplyPrint and spreadsheets.

Testimonials. After twenty orders the workspace invites you to write a short testimonial about LayerFlow3D. A published one earns fifty paid orders on top of what your plan allows.

A status page at layerflow3d.com/status shows whether every part of the service is working, checked every minute.

The Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy now describe the service as it is today, your shop page and your buyers included.

1.60.0

Your storefront now does more to earn a buyer's trust.

Under the order button, buyers see what happens to their money: nothing to pay now, or the card is entered on the payment provider's secure page and the shop never sees it.

Once a shop has ten completed orders, the storefront header shows how many.

In the storefront settings you can now add your exchange and returns terms, shown on every item page, and who sells: your legal name and city, shown at the bottom of the storefront.

1.57.3

The client list now finds people by phone. Type a number the way you have it written down and the card comes up, whichever way the number was typed into it in the first place.

When a client card cannot be saved because another client already has that email address, the app now says so instead of "could not save".

A client's row shows both where their parcels go and the note you typed beside it, so "leave it with the neighbour" is no longer hidden behind the branch address.

The list of a client's orders now shows each order number, so you can tell which order you are looking at.

Save in the client form stays off until something actually changes.

The dashboard no longer loses a job from "Completed today" the moment you ship it. What was finished today stays counted for the rest of the day.

"Needs attention" now lists unpaid deliveries by what is still owed, so the one worth the phone call is at the top. An order that is nearly paid off no longer outranks one that is not paid at all.

The payment shares on the money card add up to a hundred per cent.

1.57.0

A shop that asks buyers for a full postal address can take orders again. The form now carries every part of the address, in the order an address is read, and the order button says what is missing instead of answering nothing.

The storefront tells a buyer what is about to happen. Delivery that is already in the price says so instead of reading as free, a buyer who will be sent to a payment page is told before they order, and a carrier directory that does not answer says so instead of spinning. A product photograph now stays inside its frame on a phone, and a link to your shop shows your own picture when it is shared.

Payments land where they should. A shop that connected two payment services no longer loses the payments of one of them, and money that arrives for an order that was already cancelled is no longer written down as received.

In the workshop: what you type in the storefront settings is not taken back when something else saves, the switch for taking payment at checkout shows its real state, and the way an order is delivered is written on its card in your own language. Integrations now show only the delivery services you can actually use, and EasyPost and Sendcloud can be set up to the end.

1.55.0

Spool labels: print a label with a QR code for any spool or sealed box, on a label printer in 50×30, 40×30, 30×20 or 20×30, or as stickers on an A4 sheet. A phone camera opens the spool from its code, and a box's code opens a spool from that box.

A spool can now have a place, such as a shelf or a box, and the warehouse search finds it by that place or by the code on its label.

A spool that is finished or spoiled can be written off from its page in one step.

A spool without an RFID tag can now be linked to its AMS slot by hand: press the link icon on the slot and pick the spool from your warehouse. It stays linked until you take it out of the slot.

1.53.0

LayerFlow3D now has a Help page with step-by-step guides for beginners: where to go, what to press and why. Open it from your profile menu, or from the question mark on any page, which now lists the guides that start there. It opens with the six steps a new workshop takes in order, from adding a printer to the first order.

When you reach a limit of your plan, the message now says which limit it is and how high, instead of a plain error.

Buttons you are not allowed to use are no longer shown, so nobody presses one only to get an error.

Also fixed: linking a spool in an AMS Lite no longer marks it as full, Set it up for the telemetry agent opens the Agent tab, a stock-take chooses Found extra when you counted more than recorded, and a printer with live status switched off no longer keeps its address.

1.52.1

The storefront address field now checks as you type whether another shop already holds that address, and says so right under the field instead of after you press Save.

On the phone, the Workspaces row in the profile menu opens with one tap.

1.52.0

The filament warehouse now keeps the purchase price with each delivery. When you receive stock or add spools that were already open, you type the price per kg for that line, prefilled from the filament type. Two deliveries of the same filament at different prices stay as separate batches, a spool opened from a batch carries the price of that batch, and the material cost of an order is priced by the very spools it will draw from.

Spools you were already using before LayerFlow3D can be added straight into work with roughly how much is left on them, with quick picks of 25, 50 and 75 percent.

Both stock dialogs send the whole form as one request, so a failed save leaves nothing half added. The button that adds a line moved under the cards, the header buttons share the row evenly on the phone, and the colour swatch in the filament list no longer squashes beside a long name.

1.49.0

When you create a workspace you now choose its country, and the app offers the carriers and services that work there: Nova Poshta is shown to workspaces in Ukraine. You can change the country in the workspace profile. The collapsed sidebar now shows every page as one even column of icons.

1.48.0

Track parcels from one page. A new Track item under Orders lists every waybill you have created: whose parcel it is, where it is going and what the carrier said last. Refresh all asks the carrier about every parcel still on its way, and one row can be refreshed, printed or opened as its order. The waybill number opens the carrier's own tracking page.

On iPhone the app no longer zooms in when you tap a field.

1.47.1

A workshop can now be priced in any European currency or in Canadian dollars: twenty-two currencies in all, each with its own symbol on every price, and a search box in the currency picker so the right one is a few letters away.

1.46.1

Orders, stock and money now add up on every path. A sale from stock can be edited again while it waits, and its lines are what it sells. An order still waiting can be cancelled or renamed even when the shelf has run out of its material. Bought parts stay whole on the order that uses them, scrap is carried by the pieces that came out well, and a started job keeps its parts and material at the prices of the day it started. A cancelled finished job spends its material and comes off the shelf again. Analytics count only finished jobs as takings, read scrap from cancellations, and show what actually left the spools.

Storefront pre-orders now come with Pro. Base shows up to ten items, and every plan alerts you about storefront orders.
